Does the hotel welcome kids?

We’re afraid not! As much as we love children, we have created Kouros Village to be a small adults-only boutique hotel that offers relaxation and tranquillity. Anyone above the age of 16 is welcome.

What is the Check-in / Check-out time?

Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is until 11 am. Find it difficult to tear yourself away on the last day of your stay? Feel free to ask reception if there is availability for a late check-out on your departure day. We do our utmost to satisfy all requests.

Do you provide pool/beach towels at the hotel?

We certainly do. Complimentary pool/beach towels are provided to all of our guests. Just contact a member of our front desk and they will happily provide you with one.

Does the hotel provide a hair-dryer, magnified mirror, and safety deposit box?

Yes, all of the abovementioned can be found in your room, with our compliments.

Does the hotel provide toiletries like shampoos, body lotion etc?

Indeed, we provide sustainably certified CE products in every guest room.

Is there a parking area near the hotel?

The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is a free public parking lot just 50 metres from the hotel grounds.

How far is the beach?

Simply turn right out of the hotel, walk for 100 metres, and you’ll be on one of Santorini’s most glorious beaches.

Are there any local bars and restaurants nearby the hotel?

Perissa is not only renowned for being laid-back and enticing; the town is also a hive of social activity. You’ll discover a vast array of bars, beach bars, and restaurants along the beachfront.

How far is the hotel from the main town and where is the nearest bus station?

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Perissa, merely 200 metres from the centre of town and the nearest bus station.

How far is Fira from Perissa?

Fira is approximately 10km north of Perissa and is easily accessible by bus, taxi, or rental car. The leisurely drive should take about 25-30 minutes

How long is the drive from the airport and to the hotel?

The distance from and to the airport is approximately 12km. On Santorini roads, this means a 30-35min taxi ride.

Are taxis easily available, all the time?

Believe it or not, taxis can be hard to find on Santorini as the island issues a limited number of taxi licences. However, several shuttle services fill the transport gap. If you’d prefer to not waste any

unnecessary time on transfers to and from the airport, kindly contact reception and we’ll be more than happy to organise your pick-up/drop-off.

How do I get around the island? Is there a local bus?

Exploring Santorini is easy and fun on local buses – services are quite frequent, especially in the high tourist season. Not only can you reach Fira in a jiffy but, from there, you can reach every corner of the island. All you need is knowledge of real-time bus schedules (click here), a little patience, and an adventurous spirit!

Do you have your own private beach area?

Unfortunately, we don’t, but there’s an array of seaside restaurants, and beach bars, that provide sunbeds for a small fee or minimum consumption.

What kind of excursions are on offer on the island? Is there anything, in particular, you would recommend?
You can visit our Experiences page and be inspired: we offer a variety of amazing experiences, from sunset sailing to horseback riding, wellness treatments, guided hiking trips, cooking classes, and so much more. What would we recommend? EVERYTHING, of course! Each experience is a Santorini highlight of its own accord.

Are there any hiking trails near Perissa?

YES! Hiking trails abound near Perissa – you’ll find the nearest trail accessible at the northeastern end of Perissa. This spectacular trail guides you all the way up to Ancient Thira (a mountaintop archaeological site) and the monastery of Profitis Ilias.

Are there any water sports facilities near the hotel?

You bet! Water sport clubs are very popular on Perissa beach. The closest to our hotel is just 500m away.
